What would you do to save your child's life? How far would you go to protect your loved ones?
Thony is a young doctor mother, who left her country, along with her son, to end up working as a cleaning service anywhere in Las Vegas, and in this way save, to pay for the medical treatment of her sick son, one day she witnessed a murder, which led her to get involved with these people, becoming responsible for cleaning such crimes that arise within the organization, saving her life in this way, and at the same time receiving payment to help her son and her family.
It is here where all this plot begins, in which this woman is involved in a world full of secrets, corruption, mafia, crimes, crimes, crimes, with the only purpose of saving her son.
When it comes to stories involving mafia, there is no doubt that it will have some action, this was what attracted me the most of this series, all those events, full of crimes, violence, is the most entertaining thing we will see here; as I said this woman will do whatever it takes to save the life of her son, and protect her loved ones, to the point that she will only think about herself, what she needs and what is convenient for her, in order to fulfill her purpose.
The series covers different topics, among them immigration, the treatment of immigrants, living in a country that is not yours, always walking in fear, for not breaking any law, and getting deported, is really frustrating for those people; but they are willing to go through all that, in order to have a better life, if that is life.
You not only have to think about yourself, but about your children, the consequences that this could bring if you are deported, if they do not have the nationality, or in the case of Thony's son, being this sick, not being able to go to a hospital that can treat him, precisely because he does not have the papers as a legal immigrant; are situations that these people have to deal with, which leads them to commit all kinds of desperate acts.
There are many situations that these people must go through, this series somehow shows us all this; on the other hand, with this, it seeks to justify the actions that in this case this woman performs, all under the shield of a mother, with the premise of doing everything in her power to save the life of her son, I confess that this was the most desperate of the series, you have to see it to understand it.
This series consists of two seasons, but by the end, it gave me the impression that this story continues, and although it was somewhat entertaining, to extend it, I think it no longer makes sense, in itself, with the second season, I felt that it was too much; as I mentioned, the action and violence that has this series, is what attracts and convinces a little, with the plot.
I won't say it was bad, for me it was quite entertaining, leaving aside the clich茅 of the plot, some other scenes and actions, I think it's worth watching if you like this kind of stories.
Well friends, I hope you liked this brief review, about this series, if you already saw it, tell me how you liked it, I'll read it in the comments, until next time.
