Esto del gym se ha convertido en una nueva etapa en mi vida; a ya un año de estar asistiendo, es ahora que me siento más motivada, con ganas de ir, de ejercitar, pero no solo eso, lo hago más que todo porque es el único sitio donde socializo, comparto, río, bailo y, bueno, ejercito. Sin duda, se ha convertido en mi mejor terapia, mi refugio, mi hogar.
Hoy, por primera vez, me atreví a ir un poco más deportiva, como dirían las chicas, más fitness, mostrando mi cinturita, mi cuerpa, jejeje. Les confieso que me sentí extraña, siendo la primera vez que me visto así; sin embargo, me sentí a gusto. Las chicas me animaron, me dijeron que me veía bien. Sin duda, me gusta ir con este grupo de mujeres; todas tienen sus cosas, su manera de pensar y actuar, pero yo les sigo la corriente, me río de sus cosas, escucho sus comentarios y, bueno, igual me divierto con ellas; es lo que más me gusta.
A ver si la otra semana me animo a ponerme otro outfit así, igual, solo es para estar allí, y es cómodo. ¿Ustedes qué opinan? ¿Cómo me veo? 😜
ENGLISH VERSION
This whole gym thing has become a new chapter in my life; after a year of going, it’s only now that I feel more motivated, eager to go and work out—but not just that. I do it mostly because it’s the only place where I socialize, connect with others, laugh, dance, and, well, work out. Without a doubt, it’s become my best therapy, my refuge, my home.
Today, for the first time, I dared to dress a little more sporty—as the girls would say, more “fitness”—showing off my little waist, my body, hehehe. I’ll admit I felt a little strange, since it was the first time I’d dressed like that; however, I felt comfortable. The girls cheered me on; they told me I looked good. I definitely enjoy hanging out with this group of women; they all have their own quirks, their own ways of thinking and acting, but I go with the flow, laugh at their antics, listen to their comments, and, well, I still have fun with them—that’s what I like best.
Let’s see if I work up the courage to wear another outfit like this next week—it’s just for hanging out, and it’s comfortable. What do you guys think? How do I look? 😜
