Have always wanted to make my money myself I feel making my money would help me get necessary things that my parents feel it unnecessary to own, would you blame me?
I'm just a kid trying to please himself.
I had just graduated from junior high school then the idea was to keep myself busy since I'm all alone at home till school resumes for the senior secondary school.
I'm always home all alone, all I do then is see movies and hang out with friends who had just completed the junior secondary school exam too.
During that period we had enough time and freedom to ourselves so all we do is maximize our time to have fun.
Everything changed when all my friends got fixed up with learning a trade just to make wise use of that time. Then the holiday that started with fun became extremely boring
I wanted to make wise use of this period too to learn a trade but I was not opportune, tried finding a job but my stature and age was a factor.
So all I could do then was just pray I get fixed up one way or the other to ease the boredom and make wise use of the time.
My prayer got answered when a neighbor asked if I could help tutor her two kids with a private tutor every day after school. Her kids were both boys and will always turn the house upside down every day after school this was affecting time in their academics as there was no one to look after them properly.
Both parents leave home very early for work and get back late.
Though the mother was always trying to see how to make them better in academics.
I was available and felt this should help me make wise use of my time moreover it comes with a pay
I took the offer and help tutor those kids after school though it was a bit demanding as the kids were troublesome but then it was worth it as I got my time fixed and got payment at the same time
I was been paid #2000naira each(4.82 dollars) for each kid.

It was the first time I ever got to earn, felt a little bit of being in charge then as I was earning my money.
It did not last for a long period as I was also a student then and had to get back to resume school but then it was worth it and sure a period I had the privilege to get things for myself with my money.
