So many occurrences of events, makes up historical events of a particular country
Events with tears, happiness, loss of lives, good laugh, and revolution. They all together make up historical events that we learn from reading and reminiscing about
They are our chronicles to interpret, analyze and get knowledge from
Time made them history,past events and in return, we learn from them
The world evolves day by day and every day we see new events, civilization, and revolution
The unusual and important events were added to history to learn, read, recognize and make the best of it
Time flies they say, it is funny how past days are now past events and some are even added as historical events
I guess as long as time does not stop we would continue to have new historical events
Sometimes whenever I read these past histories I wish I was part just to enjoy the good things it came with and maybe tell people I was also part of such good event and other times when I read them I just imagine how people around during that era survived, lived and endured, eras like the world war, military regime and breakout of diseases
Must be a very hard one with so many loss of lives and injuries,I guess events like that can't be avoided especially when revolution is needed and there's a need for a change of power
History will always be there to learn from and more would continue to be made just as we exist as humans
If I was ever to witness any of these historical events that would be the regime of Chief Obafemi Awolowo between the year 1940 to 1987 when he emerged
My parent would always talk about how good this man was and the revolution he brought to Nigeria.Though he had his flaws but his praise was always overshadowing his flaws from my parent
And his praise would make you wish you witnessed the events he introduced
It was as if we can never have a better Nigeria as the man's view from their say,that how good they see him and his plans
He was very influential even with his plans and he made so many people enjoy living and very comfortable
His administration was known for social welfare in which he provided free health services, free education, and promotion of unity
They said life and education was so much with ease then that people were even forced to learn
And it was recorded in Nigeria's history that Obafemi Awolowo introduced free health services, free education, and unity among the citizens
What a good historical event to be recorded to ones name
Witnessing it would have been witnessing a Nigeria with ease and less stress
A Nigeria with aim to make life habitable for its citizens
A Nigeria with great social welfare and maybe the greatest so far
How good would it be to tell my kids Nigeria was once like that
I guess all I would do is tell them other historical events I would witness
