All saints co-operative members in Ibiaku village
Last Sunday, I made a post how i visited a co-operative leader to negotiate a health talk and treatment for His members. Arrangements were made that we come back today 15/01/2023 to see all the members and educate them on health.
Poverty is really affecting 3/4 of the co-operative members. From the interview , I found out that, they don't have even 10k NGN in their co-operative account. They have been waiting for surport from government for 2 years now. Yet nothing is coming out. So many of them are sick and cannot treat themselves.
Here is madam Afiah, she has been sick for 2 years now and according to her, her husband is on stroke. She came hoping that we will give her and her husband free treatment. She was so excited to learn so many ways to care for a stroke patient and how she can manage high blood pressure. I assured her if our support and told her to come for a free text in my office. We made another arrangements for them to come back on 28/01/2023 for a free text.
Every one of them was happy that we came. I went with Mr Friday Jobson. He was the person who directed me to the co-operative after I treated the wife.
This co-operative ask us for help, one woman whose leg has swollen as a result of uric acid in the kidney told me that, her husband is late. And because of her health condition, she can not do her business again. We gave her some product to take for 7 days. I felt pity for so many of them.
This people are not lazy what they need is a little surport and they move on. I shared Hive blockchain with them but they do not have smartphone. Some do not have small phone. I mean they really need help from government.
My plan now is to continue to educate them on health. On some vegetables they know. I will teach them so many fruits and their health benefits so that, they will see more reason to eat fruits and vegetables.
I will introduce their leader to a big co-operative so that they can help him get help from Bank of agriculture. Whatever i will do humanly possible to help them i will do so especially those who cannot afford 2 meals a day.
It was really funny that so many of them have not use smartphone before. When i aske this one to use my phone to snap us, he will call another person. Lol, it was the sick woman i mentioned earlier that asked me to show her how to it and i showed her. That was how she snapped her self and this picture i out now. It is not bright but i will keep it to show her when she will be able to take nice pictures.
