Hokusai Painting!
Another one I did in 2006! It was actually done before I did the praying mantis one. I looked at a Hokusai print and tried to recreate the print but with oil paints. I like that oil paints are softer than

Praying Mantis 2006
This was a oil painting where I wanted it to look like a japanese style print but not super flat. I really fell in love with oil paintings and pictures with kanji on them.
