HIVE is looking like a good technical buy ATM. I am not a true believer on HIVE anymore, too much sell pressure, the DHF is adding a ton to the inflation and the DHF is just an off the books permission to inflate and sell.
But I do see optimism in the charts though. Fundamentally I am disappointed and disenfranchised by blocktrades, acidyo, stoodkev, good-karma and other witnesses that choose to support DHF-backed HIVE selling, often through stupid populist meaningless proposals such as for paying claude subscriptions... I mean come on, acidyo, pay for their subscriptions yourself first, post the results then and if the community thinks that after you spent your own money there was a tangible clear return then you make a DHF proposal... But I diverge.
Still the chart for HIVE and many other alts show a bullish MACD divergence with MACD creating higher lows since February 2025 while price makes lower lows, matter of fact the price makes all time lows after all time lows while MACD makes higher lows.
The point is that technically yes HIVE seems to look like a good buy right now, it may be at or near a bottom and is forming a bullish pattern, the kind of pattern that bots look for to buy in slowly at first and then turn into a bullrun, even if a short one.
HIVE may see more downtrend but technically I think we may be near or at a bottom. The problem with bottoms is that charts can go sideways at the bottom for days, weeks, months... YEARS even...
And once again, fundamentally I think that HIVE has shitty tokenomics, politics and economics, it allows for centralization and collusion, allows for off the books inflation and our technically deflationary (supposed to be like bitcoin) design means nothing due to HBD and the DHF, so all that bad stuff that crypto investors hate because of centralization. Fundamentally HIVE looks bad on so many levels but technically the chart looks interesting.
So I may buy a tiny little bit if the bottom is truly around 0.037 or 0.038 just because it looks like a technical bottom on a long term bullish pattern. Problem is that purchases here must be risk adjusted due to the shitty economics and politics of HIVE and because bottoms may last years, we never know.
Let us hope it truly is what it looks like
