Designing and building this system has been challenging but the current version shows much progress has been done.

This is the central command mechanism that will be controlled by the handles. The system is working. There are a few adjustments to be made. The main problem to address is the length of travel of the rods for the 3 points. Each rod currently travels about 1cm to lock which is not enough. They need to travel 2cm for better result.

Each handle is made of two rebars of different diameters welded together.

This design is based on ergonomics. The smaller rebar is here to give more resting surface to the fingers when they grip the handle.
