The LeoFinance Magic

A little over two months ago, I felt like an "outsider" in the LeoFinance community. I've just been lurking around trying to find a way in. Eventually, I was able to gather enough courage to comment on a few posts and found out that the lions in the den are actually friendly and responsive. That made me decide to come in and so on the 27th of March, I took my first baby step with the thought of trying to experience how it is like to be around the lions in the den.

Oh boy, I fell in love right there and then!

And so I set my mind to stick around and learn... learn... learn. You could say that I sound like a broken record always emphasizing on that word, lol! But it was honestly what set the fire in me to stick around and engaging with others is truly amazing and it's one of the best source of new information for me these days.

I made the above table to see my own engagement progress. I drifted for a while trying to adjust with what I have been used to doing in Hive and with a little more determination, I was able to get around and today, I'm on to crossing off my 30th article published directly from the LeoFinance interface.

And what have I gained so far since taking my first baby step?

• One, I learned about LEO, the community's token, its importance in the ecosystem and the need to stack more of it and stake (LeoPower). Prior to coming here, I only knew about Hive Power so I was astonished when I found out that we can also have LeoPower.
  
  
• Consequently to the first, I now have around 1600LP from basically zero.
  
  
• Learned about what could be done with the other Hive-Engine tokens instead of just letting them sit in the wallet. Like sending them to the pools (DieselPools and BeeSwap) and getting different token rewards.
  
  
• Learning about PolyCUB and how it is creating great things that are beneficial to Hive in general through its V2 pools which is helping in deepening the liquidity and exposure for HBD, Hive, SPS and other HE-assets that may come around.
  
  
• Forced me (in the good sense of the word) to budget my time and resources in setting goals and doing every bit of possible ways to work on them. When I was outside of the LeoFinance ecosystem, my only sole goal was to grow my Hive account (HP). Now, I have so much more to work on :)
  
  
• Learning more about crypto, DeFi, bridging assets between chains etcetera. I get to ask questions without being ignored. In some instances, I get to learn even more than my question warrants. People in the community usually go the extra mile to provide help and guidance.
  
  
• And through all of the above and more, I get to keep myself productive and busy, away from the wonky markets, hence, lesser worries.
  
  

Looking back, Finguru was right with his comment (above screenshot). LeoFinance is the best place indeed to learn more about crypto/blockhain and a whole lot more.

LeoFinance to me equals GROWTH not only in the area of knowledge (finance, crypto, blockchain) but also in widening one's network, in developing social skills and relationships, of new opportunities and many more.

So NO, I will never ever regret coming here and know that I will keep showing up each and every day, no matter what.

And reading the LeoFinance vision made me believe that I have aligned myself perfectly with a continually evolving, innovating, developing great community where I can grow along with as I work towards my long-term personal and financial goals.

Today, I celebrate my second month in the den with so much gratitude and enthusiasm, and yes, looking forward to learning and growing along with y'all...
