So it's midweek already. The hump day. The end of the month, too! One last quarter left in the year, whew! September seems to have flown by quickly.
We are heading out today, taking the hour-and-a-half-long drive to see Kuya C one last time. It's the 6th of his 7-day wake (his interment will be tomorrow). A week-long wake isn't cheap (over a million in expenses), especially in our local tradition. Still, the late wife's relatives decided to keep it longer to give time for friends, family, and acquaintances to pay their last respects before he is laid to his final resting place.
People do love him. We do too.
Before we get caught up in the day's events, a quick update on the weekly progress of our new SlothlySavers goal, which we are working to accomplish before the year ends—re: stacking 100k sats.

After adding around 13k sats, we are almost halfway through the target. It looks like we might cross off the goal before December. That would be really nice, but it remains to be seen. No rush. No pressure.
Meanwhile, we still haven't bought back the HIVE we let go weeks ago. And we now wonder if the price will ever drop below 5 cents, but it's okay if it doesn't. We can still acquire some with the HBD we have available. Active trading may make up for it, but we are not doing that for now, since we are often out and away from the screen most days, especially when we are in BC.
So maybe next time.
Until then, we roll. We live life normally and maybe crazily (wildly) too! Life is too short to spend most of it working seriously.😉
