The Christmas vibe is in the air, at least in Metro Point Mall somewhere in Pasay. The ingenuity of people are evident on the decorative pieces displayed at this Jollibee branch where the Farmboy had his lunch while he was in the nation's capital sometime last week.
Some great artisan must have been hard at work throughout the previous months for these items. These products are by Hand Krafts PH by the way, which unfortunately, did not have much information online. I did find their Facebook page which contains photos of their other crafts. The page was newly-created (October 29) so I wonder if the business just started.
And I adore their tagline!
"Your hand is the best tool for your craft."
I also love the fact that the items are mostly made of economically and environmentally-friendly materials (rattan) and judging from the photos, they seem to have not applied any artificial paints or coloring so they kept their natural state as well. They may have used some polishing, I'm not so sure.
Apart from these decorative pieces which include wreaths, Christmas trees and accessories, they also have woven bags, various shapes and sizes of wicker baskets for storage, laundry, tissue, picnic and a whole lot more for a household. From their page, I also noticed some lamps, planter stands or display stands whatever you call them, hats and crocheted bouquets which reminded me of 
I believe these are 100% hand-crafted and locally-made based on the tags they used on their page which included the following:

I did wish the farmboy thought of me and bought a few pieces of them, lol! Well, he might have because he photographed them so I'm still thankful and here I am sharing his captures, haha!
I'm all in when it comes to quality and local products and I hope more people will support these and help make the craft thrive. I do have a few pieces of rattan-made items (fruit baskets and other smaller items) at the other house which I bought in 2010 and they still look brand new until today probably because they are well taken care of.
