Magandang buhay馃挍
The blockade in DD has eased up a bit, so we drove out of town early and are now in BC (as extra hands to fill in the shelves at Dad's mart). An exciting day, I say, especially with the lovely weather we are having here. It felt like we came from another time zone where it had been wet since yesterday afternoon throughout the night.
Anyway, it's going to be a buzzy Thursday, but we are up for the task. We intend to enjoy this step in the new side hustle we hopped into, especially since our old man will be involved (he will oversee it). He is quite ecstatic to continue what Mom did years ago. I guess he loved the idea of socializing while staying physically (and mentally) active; hence, the birth of our family venture, BC Mart.
It had actually been on the drawing board for a few months, and while most things were already set, it had not progressed. It was postponed a couple of times due to our hectic days, the temporary road closure (maintenance) in May, among other things. While we scheduled it for last weekend, the incidents in DD have prevented us from making it happen.
But I believe today is the perfect time. We are here, and the goods too. So it's truly a GO, yay!
Unfortunately for my boy, he couldn't join us on this lil event (he's at the house snuggling amongst the pillows). He can't be near his grandpa; he keeps growling at him (I'm afraid he might even bite him).
If my memory doesn't fail me, it's been over two years since Dad teased him with a soft broom while they were having fun in the living room. He thought it was a playful gesture, but the wee man perceived it as a threat. He might have thought his Lolo was trying to hurt him. So for now, they can't be in each other's proximity馃榿
But yes, this is it! We raise our cup to this eventful day馃
