I have a friend who will always tell us that the reason he doesn't play sports betting is that he has noticed that everything he does, his games, never seem to play the way he predicted. But apparently, anytime he predicts a game for other people, eighty percent of the time they end up winning that game.

He made this statement a while back after he had predicted some games and everything would play the way he said it would. And at first I didn't believe him; I just thought he got lucky, and that was that.

Well, fast forward to today. Before the Champions League game started, we had gone through the fixtures and had both given our opinions on whom we felt would win. And I remember he had told me to place a bet based on his prediction, but I had refused because I had no intention of doing that.

Fast forward to the end of those matches, and everything he had predicted came out exactly the way he said it would, and it got me thinking, is it really possible for someone to have a gift that only works when he helps people with it and not when he helps himself with it?

It's kind of like a guy who is perfect at giving relationship advice but never gets in a good relationship himself because he always ends up with the wrong kind of people to date. So he chooses to remain single while helping everyone else around him find and enjoy true love.

If this is true, do you guys think it's a blessing or a curse in disguise, because I don't think many people would want a gift that they can't use to make their own lives better.

So, could this be true, or is it all just a coincidence?
