Checking a little closer, we see the cars better.

Nothing much to see really but rooftops and structures. Well, there's the sky!

The same view, just a bit more of those greens atop the building and the trees down the road.

I might just be passing by this Wendy's Restaurant along the block.

My first visit to Auckland was spent in one of the apartments along Queen Street and if my memory serves me right, I was on the 16th floor and my room had a view not of the main street, but of the back. My balcony was one of the first ones to get sunshine so I loved it. Used to open the blinds and the glass door to let it in plus some good air too.

In the mornings, I take some moments to have a bit of fun checking out things beyond the balcony and letting my eyes snoop around the areas nearby including the parking spaces, zooming my wee Sony digicam like it was a telescope, lol! Was a late riser then because office hours start at 10 so there was no rushing. So yes, these shots were taken during those times.

On the evenings, I usually spend time with colleagues either for a stroll which always end up going to dinner so I did not have to cook then, lol! I'd be back to the apartment catching up with family back home or watching TV and heading to bed when I feel snoozy.

This was often my view at night.

That month being October, I kind of experienced varying weather in a day - sunny and warm in the morning, some breeze and rain early in the afternoon then really cold on evenings toward night time. And what about breakfast? Buttered bread plus milk and midnight snacks were either half of an apple or a piece of kiwi fruit. At least my diet was a lot healthier, lol!

For some reason I had no photos of food or us with my colleagues even in places we were eating. But I know they used to take me to try out different cuisines. Probably because at that time, I didn't do Facebook yet. Well, I did use that social media in 2009 but just for playing Farmville, haha! Did you ever play that game?

Anyway, those were just memories remembered on my stay in that particular apartment. Spent over a month then I was back to China before November ended.
