In crypto, we enjoy certain eras in which thousands of people direct their attention and put their money into specific types of digital assets. Yesterday, the Aptos project airdropped tokens to the community members who applied to testnet and minted the Aptos 0 NFT.
After the nice amount of money airdropped to thousands, crypto twitter concentrated on the other crypto projects that are expected to airdrop their tokens to those who contribute them in their testnet.
Though not many testnets are worthy, we also had amazing ones similar to Aptos and Avalanche. Both of these crypto projects gave thousands of dollars to their community members who contributed to their operations before the mainnet is launched.

Not sure if it was the same case for you but there were 300,000 tweets were shared only about Airdrop. My timeline is full of the possible list of new airdrop coins. Besides, there are tens of projects on Aptos to persuade community to buy their token for "possible" new airdrop by Aptos.
As far as what I see, no other project will dare to airdrop their token while the amount of money by Aptos is crazy high. However, when they see the craze is settling, they will also follow the way Aptos paved.

What I clearly see is that people care about the upcoming strong projects in crypto to make gains as happened in Avalanche and Solana. Obviously, the melting purchasing power of fiat currencies is not likely to end in the near future. Having an Airdrop season is a shared hope that people grow so that they can save themselves from this endless rate race of fiat money.
I believe the projects that are in the testnet network are waiting for a sign of bull-run that the projects can be valued better. Thus, expecting an earlier Airdrop Season in the globally problematic times does not make any sense from the realistic side.
We may expect the next bull market to start with either NFT or Airdrop hype as the initial hype to bring more people. When the volume on the Aptos network is considered, people are ready to change the sentiment in crypto. It's all about global issues 馃寧
