This was my red rose in the back yard, and the petals seemed to have been eaten a bit by insects. I have no idea what eating them, but I suspected the Japanese beetles! For some reasons, the beetles were in plenty numbers last year!
I love this rose! It is one wonderful color to see in the yard! At the end of the season when all the flowers are done, I saw what they call rose hip, but I just know them as seeds :-)
