Hello, everyone! The headline of the article is quite encouraging, isn't it? Just as interesting as the project of the altcoin itself. I would like to introduce you an interesting entertainment platform - Agareum - where earning cryptocurrencies is based on participating in an online game.
Agareum is an online gaming platform. The gameplay takes place in real time and is based on the Gamedrop™ system (as described in the next paragraph). The game involves the player gaining various cryptocurrency tokens, which can be catched in each individual game. The general idea of the game is very clear and simple: we appear in the arena representing the Petri dish as a small ball - our task is to absorb points and smaller cells in order to constantly grow, accumulate score and tokens. The developers of the game described its simplicity in one short sentence:
"FILL YOUR BAGS!"
Gamedrop does not have a similar name to Airdrop by chance. Well, this concept is a combination of game and airdrop of cryptocurrency tokens (airdrop - it is receiving a fixed number of tokens from the creators of altcoins for performing a tasks). This is not difficult to understand - the authors of the projects throw some number of tokens to the game, and players in this game in real time can collect them in a more engaging way than regular AirDrops.
First and foremost, the people of Agareum are searching for people to cooperate. Then these willing investors, the altcoin developers, allocate their tokens to the gaming platform. On this basis, Agareum plans future games and sets their dates. When Gamedrop starts, the user can log in - and fight against other players by earning tokens from projects. The player individually determines how many games he will take part in, i.e. how much he will earn. The number of tokens, unfortunately, is limited, so the competition with other players becomes much more interesting. Wow, what an adrenaline!
The system that uses tokens of other projects is called Third Party Gamedrop™ and will be used only in the future. The authors of Agareum will invite various altcoins to organize a marketing campaign for them. It sounds interesting.
Okay, so we already know the project idea and the general description of the system. Now let's move on to the detailed rules of the game:
We already know that in order to eat a cell we need to be 20% bigger than it. We also know that the space divides our cell into two equal halves. So let's look at an example:
We have a cell that we want to eat with a mass of 100. So for an attack to be effective, our discarded half must have a minimum of 120 (well, 125 - just to be sure). So the total mass of our cell must be at least 250 units. But let us remember to be careful! Let us not play with the tool of fission unnecessarily, because then we become an easier target for other, more dangerous cells.
A system of skins is also introduced to the game. Currently the number is 20, but players will soon be able to adjust their own skin.
The authors have also placed a badge system in the game. There are 5 levels of badges - each one allows you to unlock the different possibilities in the game and track the ranking.
The basic game mode is the one described above, i.e. "Token Death Match". For the time being it is the only game mode. The authors of the project, along with its development and the influx of users, plan to add a number of new modes and functions. If you want to see what these modes will be and read about their details, please refer to the 7 page of whitepaper.
The token of the Agareum project has the AGR symbol. There are these tokens that you can collect by playing online. Each user has his own wallet in the game, to which the tokens are transferred after the end of the game. For these coins we will be able to buy extras, such as custom skins or boosts at the game. A stake system will also be added. The wallet is compatible with ERC-20, and you will be able to transfer tokens from it to an external wallet, e.g. to Metamask.
AGR tokens are not only for buying extras or withdrawing them from your wallet. The upcoming Gamedrops will also require a small amount of AGR to encourage users to play actively and make them participate in more games.
I personally checked the game, and I thought I wouldn't stay for long, but I liked it. When I was playing it, I experienced a lot of emotions, and seeing that the tokens are making fun of me, it was even more pleasant to play. I recommend you to check it out and strongly encourage this project.
