What is PARQ?
A Green, Smart and Connected City Platform
Parksen’s goal is to combat worldwide traffic congestion and pollution through a Green, Smart and Connected City Platform. In order to accomplish this it will be using the IOTA(MIOTA) and Ethereum blockchain, smart contracts, IoT devices, a real-time parking app. The Parksen parking app, allows drivers from all around the globe to find and pay for their parking spaces in advanced by showing them the nearest one to their destination. This will help drivers save money, time and frustration, as well as helping to reduce CO2 emissions. They are creating a truly sustainable and intelligent city development platform and reduces pollution damage in urban metropolises and small cities.
The PARQ Token
The PARQ token is an Ethereum-based ERC20 utility token which you can spend and earn within the Parksen parking app and the Green, Smart & Connected City Platform. Drivers can locate, reserve and pay for their parking even before leaving home. With the parking app all users can earn PARQ tokens by registering and renting out individual and corporate parking spots that belong to them. To simplify things we can say that the token is used as currency for parking spot owners and drivers using the application. The driver can use the tokens to book a parking spot in advance on the platform, also municipalities and parking garages can use the tokens purchases in terms of equipment and IoT devices.
The Parq team held a private sale earlier in the year and are currently holding a presale which will end on the 1st of November. Users can buy PARQ tokens $0.07 USD each ($3.5 million hard cap). The price will increase to $0.08 per token during their public sale. This is a great opportunity to get PARQ tokens at a discount before they open their public sale.

The Beginnings of Parq
The Parq app was developed in 2016 and it connected 113 cities in the Netherlands in a decentralized, smart network. The team was able to develop a nationwide platform with support from both angel investors and the local government. Continuing their growth, they made the Parksen app available on both the App Store and Google play for users in Netherlands. They have recently they started their pre-sale and now they are targeting the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia for their Global Expansion. In 2020 they predict the platform and app will be rolled out globally and be made available to all participating cities and their citizens. The team will continue to work on the platform depending on feedback from different markets

The PARQ team aims to bring their Parksen platform to the United States within the next few months. This, along with it's partnership with IOTA, gives us reason to believe in the success of the platform. Unlike many new ICO's, Parq has a functioning product and are now just looking to improve and expand. However, a product and a well managed team does not guarantee success. The "smart city" space is being targeted by multiple other organizations such as Parkade and Parkgene. Only time will tell to see who emerges as the leader in the innovation of the way we live our lives.
