So today I just want to write about doing the right thing at the right time.
I am sure in my introductory post I mentioned I am currently serving.
As a youth corper, CDS is every Thursday and it starts 9 o’clock.
As at 8:45am I was still on my bed doing nothing. I have clinomania (excessive desire to stay in bed)... lol.
Eventually I left the house like 11 thinking I was still early.
I got to CDS and met a lot of people outside.
Apparently the LGI decided to lock the door today.
We were all there waiting for when she will let us in. Which didn’t happen.
I thought of going back home instead of staying under the sun.
But no I wanted to sign my CDS form by all means.
I waited under the sun for a long time, until I joined other people to jump the window... lol just because I wanted to sign.
I was still unable to sign because I entered the hall when they had finished signing and were saying the youth service anthem.
You can’t even imagine how pained I was.
I went for CDS and didn’t get to sign my form.😔
I’ve been pissed all day because I was not different from those that didn’t even show up at all.
You know that feeling of wishing you had not done something in the first place.
On my way home I was just telling myself I could have avoided all that if I had done the right thing.
So many people like postponing, just do what you have to do at the right time.
