Colo Dam is located on the border between Pengkol village, Nguter subdistrict, Sukoharjo district with Sendangijo village, Selogiri sub-district, Wonogiri district passed by Bengawan Solo River Basin. The dam or reservoir has an area of approximately 32,200 hectares.
