Hello DIYhubbers, how are you all doing?😃
So let’s just say it’s been a “fruity” or “ fruitful” week for me.
I made a drawing of grapes a few days ago and today it’s mango time, Yay!
My drawing today was inspired by the sweet mangoes my lovely sister bought earlier today. They were big, fresh, sweet, and very succulent and I couldn’t resist drawing them.
I looked for pictures of mangoes online and I went straight to business.
So, I’ll be walking you all through the process of drawing this beautiful mangoes and I can state for a fact that they weren’t difficult at all. Just a little stroke, curve, and shades here and there, and in no time your drawing is ready.
My drawings as usual are a product of little shapes.
For my drawing, I used the below materials and followed the below steps.
Materials
Drawing Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Black Pen
Procedure
Step 1:
I started by drawing the stem of the mango, I tried to make it as neat as possible.
Step 2:
I proceeded to draw one of the mangoes putting extra effort in the shape. I didn’t want the mango to look like something else.
Step 3:
After drawing one of the mangoes I also drew one of the leaves of the mango.
Step 4:
I drew the second mango and I included the stem and leaves as well.
Step 5:
I completed the leaves of both mangoes. I tried my best to make the leaves as realistic as possible.
Step 6:
I used my pen to give it a darker outline.
I shaded where necessary, I made sure my mangoes looked as realistic as possible, and Tada! Ladies and gentlemen my beautiful mangoes were ready!
Do you love mangoes? Do you love my mangoes? Can you draw a mango? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comment section.
