hello dear hivers! I'm here to share a special birthday celebration for my mother's friends son. The party was particularly extravagant because it was the child's first birthday , a the tradition of all filipinos.
In this picture, which I adore, he suddenly cried when I held him, but after some time he started smiling. It was our first photo together. Although, I had seen baby Kaihler before at his parents wedding, when my mother and I attended.
The memory of holding him for the first time stands out because he was incredibly adorable. I love babies so much, when I see babies, I want to hold them.
This is my mother together with her friends as they are buying gifts for the birthday boy. And guess what they bought the same shirt and even had identical gift bags.
They took a while choosing gifts, but they're bought the same. duhhhhh HHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I'm feeling hungry as I waited for them, I decided to buy some snacks to satisfy my taste buds. Surprisingly, it tasted good.
We opted for a tricycle ride to get to my mom's friends house. It turned out we didn't know exactly where it was, so we strolled around, asking people we passed for directions. Finally, we found their home after a bit of exploring.
We we're the early birds, HAHAHHAHAHSH The call time was 4:00 pm, and yes, we arrived exactly at 4:00 Pm. However, there were no people around because, well being late seems go be Filipino thing.
When we got there,we saw kids playing, it brings back the childhood memories of mine. It felt so nostalgic, reminding me our happy moments back then.
We decided to take pictures this time, because the set up was incredibly nice. The theme was blue and I dressed black I even felt awkward because I didn't match the theme, But it's funny that, there were quite a few others who also didn't wear blue.
The highlight of this party was totally the foods. I chose the different dishes and tasted each one, but the bounty of soft drinks left me quite full. Even though, I enjoyed the meal, there was so much that I couldn't finish everything.
This is my left over because it couldn't fit in my tummy HAHAHAHHAHA, but you know as Filipinos; we take it home.
After finishing our meals, my mom and her friends went to the mother of the birthday boy to let her know that we neede to leave. They explained that the last trip was at 8:00.
Before heading home, the mother of the birthday boy kindly gave us candies, treats, and even a cute keychain. I jokingly said that it was mine.
We patiently waiting for the bus and it felt like it took a while, but after like 30 mins of waiting, we finally boarded the bus to head home.
We took an air-conditioned bus, and I felt a bit uneasy because I was full, and the motion made me nauseous, However, I managed to control myself and chose to sleep instead.
