It was Valentine's day. The pressure was there but not too much. In our almost 8 years of marriage, we never had issues about exchanging gifts. We know each other for almost 15 years and are very comfortable about our life.
I never claim myself an aromatic person. I usually don't express my emotions much in general, not even my anger. Who knows me knows very well by my response about how I'm feeling.
But on occasions, I usually do buy gifts for my wife. I mean why not? She is the mother of our child, she takes care of our home and everything, she is the love of my life. So the gifts are something like not a present but more like a 'thank you' from my side for what she does.
My wife doesn't like surprises. Yes, it's true. So I usually don't buy her anything before confirming otherwise, there were many times when she didn't like the present. She is not mean but her choices are very precious.
Anyway, I bought a silver rose pendant for this Valentine's day from a nearby shopping mall. I'm not very professional in buying these types of things. So had no idea if she would like it or not. But I think she likes it. With a red rose and this pendant, our day was good.
