After a whole packed week with school's work and homeschooling and housechores, we decided to go out awhile for some breather. Most of the time, we stay at home to practice social distancing, but we figure out some winding down together as a family was great too.

Ice-cream time🍦!

We decided to visit nearby ice-cream shop called Inside Scoop; ice-cream for the children, waffle and coffee for the adults.

We really love the service here. The place was so clean, and it was only us because we chose non-peak hour time. Although we couldn't taste the flavour one by one due to SOP, the waitress took time and patience to explain to us, even telling us some ice-cream contained nut in case we are sensitive to nuts, and some contained gelatin made from beef, in case we do not take beef. They are wide range of flavours and the best part is, they have gluten-free and diary-free version. We also fell in love with the simple elegant design there.

Eating time!

The eldest chose nutty nutella flavour and the youngest chose mango sorbet (gluten-free and dairy free). The place was quite freezing cold, maybe because it was only us. Half way, husband went to the car and grabbed jackets for the boys. Freezing....!

My husband and I shared a plate of Nutelle waffle and a cup of cappuccino! Indeed, it was a relaxing winding down time for us family. I had to say that the waffle was so nice, soft on the inside, fluffy enough, and crispy on the outside. I wasn't a dessert person but totally enjoyed it.

We had one-hour time there, and did not prefer to stay out for too long, and it was time to head home to wash ourselves clean and get changed to clean clothes again. We had been practicing strict hygiene whenever we came home from outside. Still, praying for the whole world to be better, combating the pandemic.
