While many of my friends admired me for having smooth skin on my face (I thank God too that I do not have any acne or pimples problem at all), I do have a few skin problems. One will be prone to ezcema especially when I do a lot of house cleaning which involves using detergents. Few hours in contact with either dust or detergents, my palms will start to feel super itchy, followed by some blister-like small dots. If scratch, the blister will burst, then they may crack, causing pain especially in contact of water. Giving thanks that it happens only on my hands, not my face. So, I am happy with the smooth skin on my face.

.
I remembered having a super serious skin problem when I was 10 years old. Upon going to reach puberty, suddenly I felt more heat rash as well as sweating more, causing my skin to be sensitive, and itch so much, especially at the neck, whole back, armpits and elbow fold and knee fold. So itchy that I would scratch them at night without me knowing, then to realise my skin was bleeding when I woke up. It was bad that it affected my whole being. Extreme itchiness was no joke. My parents bought so many creams for me, we went to a few skin specialists, even using steroids but to no avail. One day, a special skin specialist from another country came to pay a visit at our small town and he was doing a collaboration with another skin specialist. That's when I found the cream to cure my ezcema. Praise God.

I still have ezcema flare now and then, especially when near the monthly menstruation time. I need to manage. Like using milder form of dish detergent, not using perfume lotion anymore. In fact, my skin doesn't friend with a lot of lotions. However, I actually need to use because the dry skin will cause itchiness too. I was searching high and low, tried Cetaphil, even aqueous type, Rosken, something Bio, horse oil, etc, but my skin would still react and flare up after few applications. I even tried natural way like using coconut oil, jojoba oil and olive oil but my skin flared as well and became very itchy.

Until recently, my dear friend gave me a special lotion. Well, she was observant enough to notice my dry skin and bought me emu oil, from Australia.

I have heard about it but never really have the time to go and find out more, so I was happy I got to try it. She gave it to me last year for Mother's Day, ever since, I had been using it and my skin improves.

She was so thoughtful and had it nicely ordered and delivered right to my door step. The box came so beautifully with a note too.

I had friends using this on their children and it improved the condition, so I was so happy when I received it. It has some fragrant but I think it is natural smell from emu oil. I had a thought, maybe I would be able to fly. Haha. Anyway, jokes aside, it is believed that the oil derived from emu contains fatty acid which can help in reducing inflammation and skin problems.

I am glad I found the correct cream for daily moisturising, and I only apply a thin layer on my hands and legs. Soon, it is going to finish and I got to ask my help on the information to buy this emu oil/cream. Thank you, my friend Jocelyn.. 馃槏
