It had been awhile I didn't cook on Saturday because usually, Saturday is the day we go over to aunt's place. However, due to youngest son wasn't feeling well, we stayed at home. If we went and aunt noticea Jansen could not eat but needed to be tube-fed, she would be very worried. So yup, staying at home and I whipped up easy cooking again.

Lunch for today

I needed to cook something quick and easy due to hourly tube-feeding Jansen. It was a hectic tube-feeding schedule with him being volume intolerance when not feeling well internally. Husband brought back some mushroom soups and mashed potatoes from his central kitchen, as well as some chicken gravy. This got me thinking of grilled chicken and steamed brocoli to combo with those dishes.

Easy peasy right?

Very quickly, I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, and pan grilled them.

Steamed the brocoli then topped with garlic oil, simple and yummy. I wanted to heat up the mashed potatoes, so while doing it, I topped it with layers of cheese, smelled super nice. My husband's mashed potatoes was always the best.

The chickens and mashed potatoes were for the men and eldest son, I just felt like eating the mushroom soup with broccoli. The mushroom soup was very delicious, packed with nutrients. Tiredness made me dropped in appetite. Therefore, something soupy was more suitable.
