Getting pregnant
A few of my friends got pregnant last year and this year, according to them, thanks to #stayathome. While it is easy for some to get pregnant, it isn't easy for some others. I also have friends who spent thousands to treat their infertility, whom also resorted to in vitro fertilization, another thousands of money spent.
If I have a choice, I would want another daughter. But weighing thr circumstance we are currently at, my age is 40, and taking care of Jansen to reach his optimal health needs lots of care and attention, we ditch the idea of having the 3rd one. Having two boys now is good enough.
To idea of getting pregnant is like restarting the whole journey, from carrying the bump to caring of a baby who needs your help 100%. This journey is not easy. It takes a lot of patience and dying to oneself. It takes a lot of selflessness and sacrificing which I don't think I would want to venture into again. So yup, we are grateful with two boys. Plus, I really want to have more time to care for other matters in life.
How about getting pregnant with motivation to lose weight to rid off that pregnant belly. I am still having diastasis recti, it is like forever there. The post-pregnancy belly is so hard to get rid especially when my 2nd pregnancy was a difficult one with extreme polyhydramnios.
Those who got pregnant and gave birth this year, some may name their baby Corona or Covidian baby. Just a joke.
