Some people get joy in photography while some take it as profession. It's been in existence since the invention of camera. Even before the invention, artworks are used in place of photography all in the name of keeping memory and for future reference.
Prior to the date invention of the modern camera, a black and with camera is been used in capturing pictures in the ancient days which make it looks vintage but now, due to the improvement of science and technology, the scientists have done another great task by inventing a modern camera which makes the photograph more attractive to sight.
Photograph is not just everyone thing, only few people can interpret it. Artwork is not just a talent that can be found in any individual. Sometimes it can be an heritage and sometimes it can be learnt when one is interested and have passion for it. It takes a lot of patience and determination to be an expert in artwork especially when it's not talent or heritage. When it's talent or heritage, one can easily build and develop on it. It takes a lot of dedication and determination while learning to be a professional in artwork.
Photograph can be used to communicate and express oneself in the ancient day and likewise in this stone age because some people still develop interest in artwork designs.
It can also serve as artefact in the museum.
Some are found in royal apartment for the beautification of the environment. Some are been sold in an exorbitant amount because of the love some people have for them.
Some even said the interpretation is from heaven. Artwork in the early ages, was been used to hide memories and messages that will continue to travel down in history. Let's say it's a way of encoding things for generations to come.
To me, most especially black &, white artwork do appeal to my soul but most people believe am boring and probably wasting my time on just ordinary image.
I Have heard and saw lot of history written on on walls, paper, clay, woods, animal skin and some are even carved but when I come across old artwork I become connected to things of the past as if I was there when it was happening, its imaginative meanings attributed to it. The meanings of the carved of objects and materials used are best known by the artist. It has been noticeably observed that African history are best traced through the handiwork of the artistartist.
