Hello Splinterlands Community!
Another post for Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge! This time the category is any dragon however I don't have a dragon monsters in my deck at present so instead I've chosen to use Drake of Arnak for the summoner as Drake of Arnak is a dragon hybrid and Zyvax Vuul from the dragon element which is the "Keeper of Dragons". To be honest, this challenge is quite difficult for me as I rarely use Dragon element but then a challenge is a challenge so let's get it on!
The Drake of Arnak is a medium-sized Dragon hybrid. He is highly intelligent and extremely rich, but cannot fly nor breathe fire. All his life he has honed his skills as a summoner, hoping to win a share of the glory that should rightfully be his as a carrier of the fire blood.
Zyvax Vuul has dedicated his life to understanding the arcane, covering his body in potent sigils, golden runes that glow with power and feed him his unnatural strength and speed. It has been said that he his knowledge of dragon magic is rivalled by no other and he has been given the tile of ‘The Keeper of Dragons’, but rumour also circulates surrounding a voracious, cannibalistic appetite. Whatever the case, he is not only feared throughout Praetoria, but also within the Chaos Legion itself.
Let's check the status and the abilities of this card.
Novice league will require ★1 Drake of Arnak to summon 1/1/1/1 monsters.
Bronze league will require ★2 Drake of Arnak to summon 3/2/2/1 monsters.
Silver league will require ★4 Drake of Arnak to summon 5/4/3/2
Gold league will require ★6 Drake of Arnak to summon 8/6/5/3 monsters.
Diamond & Champion league will require ★8 Drake of Arnak to summon 10/8/6/4 monsters
Zyvax Vuul is a legendary card from the Chaos Legion Edition
Looking at the basic stats, Zyvax Vuul did have a high health and a good range damage.
In terms of the abilities, the flying and recharge ability are available in ★1. Progressing to ★2 will unlock the close range and ★4 will unlock the deathblow.
Those abilities are really a great combination. Imagine using a max level Zyvax Vuul with a 3 range damage recharging to increase the range damage to 9 and dealing a deathblow to the enemy with an 18 damage. I would really want to see that.
Recommended ruleset to pair with this card:
| Zyvax Vuul is not affected by the earthquake because of the flying ability which is already available at ★1. | |
| Fog of War will greatly benefit Zyvax Vuul as the recharge ability is attacking only on every other round. Placing Zyvax Vuul to the last position will then give enough time to recharge and attack a massive damage. | |
| Zyvax Vuul does not have any armor which means this ruleset does not have any effect. The recharge attack of Zyvax Vuul is a waste if only it will hit the armor. |
