Thirty four days has passed since I start doing work from home. Tomorrow is supposedly the 35th day, but for someone who works in abroad, our time is bound by the work contract, you can't agree nor disagree if they call you back to work amidst this pandemic crisis.

I have received a call from my Manager 5 days ago and told me to get ready because the Finance Department (I am actually from Membership Team/Frontdesk and I have no idea what is the new job awaits of me) is in need of someone to help them with the F&B reports, I can't say, I don't want because I am scared to go outside the house and mingle with other people inside the buses or trains. I can't even say, 'yes' to her but my heart and my mind is saying 'no'.

She also added, one of the Finance staff has resigned and we can't hire anybody at this point in time. Which means, no matter what I say, it doesn't have any weight, because, what they are saying is not for me disagree. It's a command.

So, tomorrow is the day where I needed to come back to work.

Last night, I went to bed early at 10pm sharp, fall asleep so easily, and for some reason I woke up at 2.30am. I couldn't sleep anymore. Anxiety was eating all over me. I kneel down and pray to God, to help me, protect me and my family and all the people around the world and to give us the courage to go on.

I couldn't think of anything else and I cried. I was having mix emotions.

I also miss my Nanay back home. She is alone and here I am, I can't go back yet to be with her.

The entire day today was over and now I am lying in my bed and thinking of tomorrow.

Tomorrow is another day.

May God have mercy on us.

Thanks be to God.
