When I got admission into college last year I knew there would be a lot of spending to do and my plan was to take everything slow and not to put pressure on my sponsors to pay all the necessary fees for college. There is no deadline to pay all the fees required by the college before school resumes and in fact most of my seniors were able to write their first semester exam without paying the college intuition fee.
Since I was done paying my acceptance fee which was 60,000 naira/ 80 USD and uploading my documents to the college portal the next step was for me to get a place to stay since I had no interest to stay at the hostel and even if I had an interest the hostel spaces was already booked by other student who got cleared first by the college clearance officers.
When school resumed, I resumed two weeks later. So when I got to school my course mate showed me where to make all my necessary payment, but still I decided not to rush and take it slow, but it did not go as plan because of the pressure from my course advisor so I had to quickly make payment which cost me 12,000 naira/16USD. When I was done with the payment I submitted the record file which she asked the class to submit.
There are still other bills to be paid like the college fee which cost 105,000 naira/140 USD, Faculty clearance 5000 naira/ 7 USD and course registration which is about 14,000 naira/19 USD. My college tuition fee should be ready by the end of the month and the rest will fall in later next month. It is not going to be easy, but everything will be covered before my first semester exam.
Textbooks and materials are still on the list of things I need to buy. Luckily I have gotten all the materials for all the courses I am offering. I have gotten a textbook which was important because I could not find the material for the course, but so far I have enjoyed the textbook and it has been my favorite course out of the nine courses I am offering.
College life has not been all roses, but I tried to adapt to make my stay a little easy. It's been tough, but I know it's just for a short period and things will get better soon. So guys that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
