DAILYCELESTIALCHALLENGE - LIGHT

On today's #celestialchallenge initiated by @sirknight I'll be talking about light.
The dictionary meaning of light is; "the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible" while in physics light is defined as; "the electromagnetic radiation within a certain portion of the electromagnetic spectrum" but today we are going to be talking about light from the Biological point of view, that Is; the light reaction stage of photosynthesis

Light reaction/stage: it is called the light reaction becus it occurs in the light. In the light reaction 4 major steps are involved which are;

1. Chlorophyll is Energized: the chlorophyll traps, absorbs and captures light energy and becomes energized photosis is of water (the energized chlorophyll supplies energy which is to split molecules of water into hydrogen ion (H+) and hydroxyl ion (OH-) and this is called Photolysis of water)

2. Oxygen is given out

3. hydrogen is transferred by NADP (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate)
   
4. Formation of ATP(Adenosine Tri Phosphate)
