Recently, I've been pursuing my three careers as an eighteen-year-old broke student. I've been seeking academic success, TikTok affiliate, and growth in this blockchain. Obviously, I won't be able to do it if I am not dedicated. As a full-time and passive earner, I realized that I should not only rely on one basket. I have this mindset that if I can do it today, why would I procrastinate? Although I have many things on my plate, I still seek to read self-help books, learn digital skills courses, and do my cardio workout routine.
In this blog, I will share a few tips on how I saved time from doing a lot of stuff on my plate. Maybe this list might not be applicable to everyone. But for me, it worked. This setlist is inspired by what I learned from my experiences and the knowledge I read from my self-help books. Those books helped me to become a better person. I also used AI for brainstorming ideas to make my writing faster with a sense of originality, but rest assured that my contents are human generated.
The first pic on the left is my planned schedule this Holy Week, while the right is my intended Notion account. Although I saw a free Notion dashboard template on YouTube, I modified it by removing unnecessary details. Crossing out recurring to-do lists in my Notion account was not in my tea. Therefore, I only use Notion as my buddy when planning to do things while I utilized Google Calendar of handling my schedules.
It's not in my nature to use it in my daily tasks, but I often use this technique whenever I study. Pomodoro saved me from procrastination, and I hope you also eliminate that most of the individual's challenge in their lives. Taking short breaks using this technique helped me to be more productive as it helps me to recharge and refocus. It allowed me to memorize all the definitions and lessons I needed to remember for academic purposes.
If you want to make your life easier, I highly recommend buying a mid-range laptop. You can also consider purchasing mid-range tablet if you don't have a budget. I'm not saying that only buying it will only help you to become productive. However, investing your money in a laptop to optimize your productivity will help you to manage your workload and distractions. That's what I learned from the Atomic Habits book that we must have separate devices for entertainment and productivity. Then after I bought a laptop, I realized he was right!
This is one of my biggest challenges while preparing for my midterm exam, and good thing I knew about it. Like last time, I argued with my mom because she was forcing me to attend my uncle's birthday party who supporting my studies. She only considered what people would say, although I had a midterm exam the next day. Imagine if I listened to her, maybe I might fail to achieve my flat 1.00 grade. Or worse, I would not pass my midterm exams. If you don't know yet, I became more productive during our midterm and got 96.2 (1.00) grade. I also learned that we should normalize getting rest if we feel tired and say no if we want to take our break.
I've been using ChatGPT as my virtual assistant in different careers in sake of being productive and generate faster outputs. I believe using it will be only unethical if you copy the whole details and consider it yours. Some might be against this AI, but using ChatGPT saved me a lot of time and made my life easier. I wrote about it before, so I hope you will check it out.
One of the reasons I used ChatGPT for my academic career is to help me provide quick answers to my academic questions. For example, our teacher assigned us to create an informative essay about jeepney modernization. Of course, you would not only copy and paste it to consider it as yours. Their response is too generic why you still need to do more research and create further edits to make it reliable. Instead of wasting time looking for ideas, it quickly gives me an idea about what I should do. I also use it in self-studying my subjects, specifically our accounting subjects.
For my TikTok affiliate career, ChatGPT has helped me to generate hashtags and strategies about the products I will endorse. It also assisted me with what I would put on my TikTok project management in Notion as I was struggling how to take it seriously. Regarding my blogging career, I'm not using ChatGPT to create my blogs but it has been my tool for generating ideas. I used some of the ideas that came from AI, but my whole content is originally created by myself.
As you see above, my post is predicted as 96% human text and not copied from an AI.
After doing those tips, I started to achieve better grades compared to my prelims. I also get better progress with my performance here on Hive and get back on track as a TikTok affiliate. Maybe these tips I shared with you are not applicable to everyone since we have different needs and careers that we need to track. Nonetheless, I'm wishing you a productive day ahead.
