Greetings!
One prayer I will never pray for even my enemy is to go hungry and this is because hunger is deadly and not good at all. I have seen people going hungry and not lasting as they could not survive the heat of hunger. Hunger is not a good thing at all. Although if one has not gone hungry before, such a person would not know what hunger means.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me which is all about, “The school hunger experience.”
Well, I will start with the popular saying that says, “An hungry man is a hungry man.” My last experience about hunger in school dated back to the year 2015, when I was in the 200l. Then I have used all I had on me to buy materials with the hope that I would be able to go home and hustle my way out to get another fund that could be used to augment myself during the exam period, but what happened was that, the time table for our exam was shifted forward by two weeks and as a result, I could not travel home to hustle my way out and it was this that led to me not having anything that I could use to take care of myself.
It's a pathetic situation back then as no one was ready to help me with anything as they had all exhausted all they had as the semester was already running to an end, less I forgot, I was the one taking care of myself and sponsoring my own education in the higher institutions of learning.
So, I decided to live and write the exam on empty stomach and this I did until the third day when someone who was owing me suddenly sent me 2k out of the money he was owing me and with that, I was able to see myself through the examination period, but the experience of that time had never left me.
