Good afternoon, Hive folks!
The #Zingtober continues, and little by little the prompts are being completed.
So far, I’ve been keeping up with the schedule properly — and that’s something I feel quite satisfied about.
Last week I had many setbacks that kept me from drawing, although most of them are already solved, and I hope to start posting more drawings in general starting tomorrow.
Anyway, today I took advantage of the afternoon to draw a bit for Zingtober, just to keep up with it — it’s a goal of mine.
This time, the prompt is "Drink", so taking advantage of my previous experience drawing the deer-shaped zing called Naara, I decided to draw her once again.
I think this one is my best drawing so far.
I wanted to make it look a bit more natural — Naara in a forest, drinking from a river.
Using an airbrush and textured brushes, I added some color and defined a bit of depth.
I also gave some texture to the river — it’s the most relevant part of the drawing and the main focus of the prompt.
Finally, I added some texture to make everything look more natural, while refining both the water and Naara’s body details.
Here’s the final piece. I made some subtle corrections to Naara and to certain edges that were barely noticeable before.
The drawing still has a bit of a sketchy look, honestly.
The monochromatic color rule limits it somewhat, but I also admit it’s a rather quick drawing.
I really wanted to get back into drawing — and even so, I’m quite happy with the result, especially considering it didn’t take too long to complete.
Tomorrow I’ll probably start catching up on some Holozing drawings or maybe begin doing some more original pieces.
I don’t know yet. Either way, I’m quite content.
This post was translated with QuillBot, and the drawing was made in Krita.
