On this day in 2004, Superman actor, Christopher Reeves dies from heart failure at the age of 52 at a hospital in Westchester County, New York. He became famous for his role as Superman where he featured in 4 Superman movies where he played the lead character.
Till his death, Reeves was paralyzed after a horse ridding accident in 1995 and was a strong advocate for spinal cord research. An avid horseman and athlete, he got injured while competing in an equestrian competition.
