Danjiri Festival, a festival that involves about 34 villages around Kishiwada, is famous for pulling wooden cart that are close to 4 tons and shouting loudly. This festival is a tradition of Kishiwada that has been around for 300 years. Usually strong men are pulling from the frot of the cart, and the children sit on the carriage or follow them behind the cart. Especially the scene of that people accelerating the carriage at corner is spectacular.
