Up and out at 3.30 AM to hike to this cove in the hopes of catching the sunrise. This region has been suffering from a drought but it decides to rain this one day in months. Gear and I are thoroughly drenched. But I am not complaining, where there is rain, there are rainbows!

The best part about Polar Nights is the colours at the mid day. Well, the sun never rises or sets, and all you see is these amazing colours for a few minutes. And when these rays fall on the snow, it just creates magic.

Natural black and white... On a Via Rail trip thru the Rockies with full cloud cover, aluminum passenger cars and snow covered black barked trees produced a natural grayscale picture even though taken in color mode.
Our life is a constant journey, from birth to death. The landscape changes, the people change, our needs change, but the train keeps moving. Life is the train, not the station.
