I’m absolutely knackered. I’ve walked 10.7 miles with the misses and the dog but I still managed to walk to the pub for a couple of pints.

We walked to a place called Symonds Yat which was basically a walk to the river and back. The wildlife is amazing around here but the photos I’ve taken are crap on the iPhone. Seen some peregrine falcons flying around today but just a dot in the sky with the phone.

We stopped off for a coffee and the dog decided to relax so I though a pint was in order. Well I am on holiday.

This pub has a hand pulled boat crossing for visitors from the other side to visit the pub but was nice to sit and people watch.

We then went for food to the local pub and I must say it’s the best steak and ale pie I’ve ever had. Along with the best blonde real ale pint I’ve had for a while. This may be due to being starving and grasping for a pint but it felt good.

Now back to the wood lodge to open the press on and get in the hot tub to rest the aching body. I think I’m getting old.
