I recently started playing Splinterlands a couple of weeks ago and have really enjoyed the game so far. I decided that before I started to invest more capital in the game that I should learn the basics of playing and how things work after purchasing the spellbook.
I have finally been able to amass a some sweet DEC so I can rent better cards that what you are provided with the started pack and I have found some success with recent cards that I have been renting. I would now like to start purchasing cards outright as I would like to build 2 solid splinter decks to help take me to at least silver, if not gold.
Below are some of the cards that I have been renting out recently and have found success mostly because Mylor carries. I have also dabbled in the death splinter but on have earth renting for now. I am thinking about purchasing a Mylor summoner card in the next week as a foundation to build off of since it has given me success in the lower ranks.
I am thinking about pairing an earth deck with either a water or fire deck as I believe those are versatile early on, but I am unsure of the low cost cards, or combinations to rent or buy at this point. If there is something more viable for a low resource player I am open for suggestions!!
