Yesterday along with my little girl I got to chance to see my wife complete a Spartacus race. This was a special day because my wife had been talking about completing one of these races for the longest and she trained hard to make it happen. There were many proud moments but overall I am extremely happy that she got to do that. To see her running through the finish line was surreal and for the rest of the day she was still excited about it. Here is something I want to share with you in regards to giving support to others.
No matter who that person is that is closest to you it feels good to support the ideas and dreams of other people. Especially if it is your wife or husband. Not only did yesterday reinforce something for me but I also think I grew as I person. It showed me to never give up on my wife and to make sure to be there to support her in the things she wants to do. My wife was very appreciative of me for being there for her and I can say our bond is that much stronger because of it.
