Here I am sitting here thinking of what will become of my Spurs this year but at the same time I know I need to force my mind to focus on the truth. It's ironic however that in this post I want to explore truth, moral standards and absolutes. All the reports surrounding Kawhi Leonard and the spurs are just plain dizzying and it's hard to know what the truth is. But in all of this I KNOW that there is an absolute truth in all of this mess. Now let me turn your attention to me responding to your comments in regards to absolutes or standards as it pertains to morality.
I have something I need to get off my chest. If there is no absolute standard of what is right or wrong then we have no hope. That's what leads to dictatorships and the empowerment of hilter type characters for example. If that's the world you want to live in then fear not the consequences that comes from such societies. But on the flip side if there are moral absolutes then you should be happy to know that for the most part that plays a major role in keeping our societies from going haywire. We are entering a "New Age" and you will see sure enough, if not already, the inhumane and detrimental consequences of moral relativism. In other words, "Humanity self destruct button engaged". Much love.
