Planting rice is mostly done by farmers who are usually in the village and some distance from City. In Asean Countries, the majority of the main food is rice. Before the rice we eat require a long process carried out by farmers.
Such as Indonesian the people still work in the agricultural sector and the way to do agriculture is still the traditional way,as I do rice farming using the traditional method of harvesting rice by cutting with a machete or sickle.
Starting from land cultivation, planting seeds,fertilizing and controling,until the rice harvest is carried out with the help of a farmer it takes about 110 days after planting the seeds.
Usually the rice to be harvested can be based on visual observation in this way can see on the expanse of rice fields the grain at an angle that is yellow or golden yellow.
Rice harvested under these condition will produce quality grain. Harvesting of rice must be done at the right age of rice,improper harvesting of rice can result in high yield losses and low yield quality.
Harvedting in the traditional way using sickle takes a bit longer if it is harvested using machine, but in general areas that have hilly contours are still in the traditional way.
And after the rice is harvested, the next step is threshing the grain that is still attced to the rice stalle which is separated into grain,the threshing that I do is by threshing is into a tool of bamboo.
After the rice is dropped to become grain,the next step is doying the grain and milling the rice in to rice. Thank you.
