How are you, dear friends? Grilled fish is one of my favorites. The small town where I live has several eateries specializing in fish, particularly saltwater varieties.
I ordered grilled fish accompanied by a side of sauteed water spinach. Diners can personally select the type of fish they want from a large refrigerator display. I choose a fish known locally as Kue, which the server then cleaned.
Shortly after the fish was grilled over Charcoal. While grilling the fish, the server explained that to achieve the best results. One should maintain even embers and keep the fish at a moderate distance from the heat source. The fish I ordered weighed around 700 grams less than a kilogram.
After waiting about thirty minutes for the grilling process. The grilled fish dish was ready on the table, accompanied by stir fried water spinach, soy sauce and in true sundanese style lalaban (fresh raw vegetables) consisting of cucumbar,basil leaves and lettuce.
The amount paid was IDR 285.000,- ($16,01), the order was for takeout only.
