It's one of the oldest Mosque and is inseparable from the Yogyakarta Sultanate. It's located west of the town square west of the town square in the Northern part of the Sultanate complex.

The great Kauman Mosque in Yogyakarta was built around 1773. Designed by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I. A touch of traditional Javanese architecture and Javanese culture.

I tried to enter the Mosque, where the prayer room has two rooms, namely the main room and the porch at the front. the concept is open at the front and sides, using a Javanese pyramid roof. The roof of the main room used a three-tiered pyramid shape.
