Bitcoin halving occurs roughly every four years. Bitcoin halving is going to happen at the same pace until all of the 21 Million Bitcoins are mined.

The last Bitcoin halving is expected to happen somewhere around 2140. Meaning that less and less Bitcoins are going to enter the market as time passes by.

Bitcoin is designed in such a way so that it act as a deflationary currency and the issuance of new tokens decreases while demand for it increases.
