Go Skate Day road trip
Longtime community member / former grom, Alex, is all grown up, and organizing his own skate trips now! For those that don't know, "groms" in the longboard world are our word for young skaters.
Alex decided to go skate next to a prison, where we found a few new hills, including one road going right up to the prison. However they wouldn't let us skate the road leading up to the prison, and kicked us out as soon as we started to drive up the road, which made us a little sad.
I learned later that they probably thought we were there to throw a package of something into the prison, as that is a common issue at prisons. Maybe one day we'll manage to skate the prison road, but for now we just skated the area around it. Either way, a great Go Skate Day was had by all!
Whole crew was rocking Scam Skate decks too! So great to see!
