Long, long ago, in a time when the world was a vastly different place, there lived a creature known as the woolly mammoth. These massive beasts roamed the frozen tundras of the north, their shaggy fur protecting them from the bitter cold.
One particular mammoth, whom we'll call Wally, lived a peaceful life with his herd. They spent their days searching for food, and Wally was always happy to lead the way. He was big and strong, and the other mammoths looked up to him.
But one day, everything changed. A group of hunters appeared on the horizon, armed with spears and bows. The mammoths tried to flee, but it was no use. Wally watched in horror as his friends and family were killed one by one.
Wally managed to escape, but he was alone in a world that was suddenly very dangerous. He wandered for days, unsure of where to go or what to do. But eventually, he found a new herd to join, and slowly but surely, he began to rebuild his life.
Years went by, and Wally grew old. He watched as new generations of mammoths were born, and he felt proud to have survived and passed on his strength and resilience to the next generation. And though his life had been full of hardship and sorrow, he knew that he had lived a good life as a woolly mammoth.
