In every corner of rural Bengal,
Doel's songs are played in tune.
The mind wakes up at midnight,
Hearing Doel's call.
The melancholy mind is filled with his songs,
Nature provides a feast of his melodies.

গ্রাম বাংলার প্রতিটি কোণে,
দোয়েলের গান বাজে সুরে সুরে।
মধ্যরাতে জেগে উঠে মন,
দোয়েলের ডাক শুনে তার।
তাঁর গানে ভরে উদাসী মন,
প্রকৃতি দেয় তার সুরের মেলা।
গাছের ডালে বাঁধে দোয়েলের ঘর।
