Generally, the use of technology is something that is necessary for easy understanding of different subject matters and we as humans have seen that and that's why we keep improving on technology. The world keeps evolving with every passing time and that's because we keep searching for different ways to make our lives a lot easier for us but no matter how we try to make things easy for us, it just doesn't make it all easy, we still have to struggle to get a good result. Technology has been applied to different aspects of our lives and we have seen how it has helped us.
In education, the application of technology has also proven to be a great aid for both students and teachers. Learning just keeps getting easier and fun for everyone, students and teachers. Back when I was in junior secondary school, I knew nothing of what technology even was, I never even cared, all I was focused on was how to buy or borrow a book to study and come out well in my test and examinations. Unlike today, I know of little children that has been privileged to learning with different applications and I know how well they are doing in their studies.
I was never really exposed to learning online or with any technology, I basically relied solely on my knowledge because that was what seem to be accessible and available and since I'm yet to go to the university, I know I will surely have an experience with studying with the help of technology because I've read the testimonies of so many people about how technology has helped them do well in their education and I've learned a lot from them and I know I will do better if I apply what they've said.
I'm someone who was blessed with the gift of making different hairstyles but as you all know, hair making / design is something that keeps evolving as the day goes by, so one thing that I do to help me stay up-to-date is going on YouTube to check out different hairstyles and learn how it is done and it has really helped me a lot to be good at what I do. Making hair do is also part of education and in my case, technology has been very helpful to me and has helped me saved my time, money and energy.
While reading through the thoughts of others about the application of technology in education, I realized that most of them mentioned that technology has it's own advantages and disadvantages but then I will be diverting a little from that, I don't think technology has any problems as we assume, the problem that it is has it's because of those that makes use of it. Need me remind you that it was man who developed technology and technology is basically a machine that does what it is told to do. Yes there are so many distractions when we make use of technology but then, these distractions are what humans have made.
The distraction that we get from our computers and all is something that is not to be blamed at all because even before technology, we have always been distracted by one thing or another and I do not think technology is what distracts us but we ourselves are what distracts us. I know some might disagree with me but remember this is my opinion, hehe. You don't have to agree with me but you just need to know that we are our own distraction and technology has done almost nothing to us but help out. If only we will learn to guide our minds well, I'm very sure we will have no complaints at all.
Technology has come to stay, we are getting so dependent on it and we just have to keep improving on it to meet our different standards if possible and using it in our education is just the best for all of us. Understanding just keeps getting easier with technology and we get to learn faster and cover a lot with the implementation of technology. With time we will be able to have really intelligent and bright children because they will get their brains working at a very early stage which will help us in so many ways.
At the rate at which technology is growing, it will be expedient for parents and guardians to be on the lookout for their children / wards to help guide them to know the right path to go, not stopping them from having access to it completely. And I will also advise them to also stay up to date with technology so it will be easier for them to understand their children better. Before now, we learned the hard way but now technology has made things easier because we all are kind of working together and not doing things on our own.
